Sponsor a CANC3 cyclist

Each cyclist will be paying for her/his own food and occasional accommodation ($15 per day). If you would like to support someone riding with Cycle Against the Nuclear Cycle. You can sponsor him/her for part or all of their $15 per day you can deposit money into the CANC3 bank account either as a lump sum or a by partial payment on a regular basis.

• Your name
• You phone number (so we can call you about stuff)
• Where you are or where you will be most between now and when you join the ride. (me may need to utilise your skills to help us in your area.)
• What dates you'll be joining the ride

Contact emails for local events

For those of you organising local events I would like to put a contact email for each event on our website. I was thinking that most people wouldn't be so happy to have their personal email on the web because it attracts spam. I can set up temporary email addresses that just forward on to the appropriate people. (e.g. wollongong@canc.org.au) If you are organising an event for us and would like one of these email addresses, please let me know. evan@canc.org.au

Note: "appropriate people" would be anyone you nominate plus one of the core CANC organisers.

Paying for food.

CANC3 has an official Bank Account with Bendigo Bank.

For all those of you who will be joining us on the ride we request that you deposit $140 into the CANC3 bank account to cover the first two weeks of communal food. ($10 per day x 14 days)
If you wish to deposit more than two weeks worth of food, just make sure you let us know.

Please send and email to Evan saying when you paid and how much.

Also, for online banking, please put in your name in the details field to make it easier for us to match up deposits. (eg: in the "Description" field of your electronic transfer payment put something like "Food money for Evan" - substitute Evan with your name.)

Insurance for cycling

If you are concerned about insurance for when you're riding I recommend becoming a memeber of the peak cycling organisation in your state. Bicycle Qld, Bicycle NSW, Bicycle Vic and Bike SA all offer accident insurance for members who are injured while cycling.

About the Ride

All new itinerary for the southern ride.

The itinerary for the southern ride has been completely reworked. The southern ride will now follow on from the northern ride and travel in the opposite direction.

For CANC3 to be effective as a campaign we need funds to pay for phone calls, printing, emailing and postage over the next 4.5 months. We estimate we need a minimum of $5,000 (and up to $11,810) to cover campaign cost. Right now we've got less than $500 in the bank.
